Genuine call for help

Help

Listen guys, I can already smell the "practice is the only way" comments but here I go anyway:

I love programming, and most of what I know is all self-taught. I know a considerable amount of Python (multiple hackathons under the belt, and a 2nd place win recently too), HTML JS CSS, C#, and so on. I didn't learn all of these languages for college or anything, it was all purely for the love of the game.

Everyone tells me Luau is the easiest and most pleasant thing to learn. But I seriously for the life of me can NOT stay consistent or learn it enough to make a game that I'm happy with. I don't know what it is, but I genuinely cannot do this language alone. And yet I'm convinced that I truly want to master it, and I keep having these "I need to learn to game dev on Roblox!!!!" phases every other month or two.

All I'm asking is this: How did you guys do it? Like I get the "I just played around parts when I was younger" line, but how did you manage to stay consistent and get so damn good at it? Like there is ACTUAL levels to ts, some games are so fascinating right down to every letter of their code, and I seriously wish I could do it too. I've tried everything, from watching yt videos to trying free and paid courses, even paying a tutor for some sessions. I think the fact that I don't know what to learn or where to learn it from demotivates me the most. How do I overcome this?

I don't want this to seem like a rant or something, I actually just need words of advice from the professionals. (Also, if any of you have some free time once or twice a week, let me know, we could discuss some things).
