Problem During Crown Procedure on Tooth #15-Is This Normal?

I’m getting a crown on my tooth #15, and during the prep for the temporary crown, the dentist had to do some reduction on the tooth. I was numbed, but I could feel that she accidentally cut my inner cheek a few times with the instrument. Afterward, she said she couldn’t take a scan because of the bleeding. She told me to take ibuprofen for a few days and rinse with salt water. She also mentioned that this tooth is really far back and complex, so it was hard to reach, and that’s why it happened. Is it normal, or should I be concerned about the dentist’ technique? Thanks so much!
