Should I add the Modern Weapons mod for the DLC?

So I played FO4 on release and a couple more times the following years. Played again a couple years ago with the Modern Weapons mod and it was fun but I didnt have any of the DLC. During the last steam sale I got the game and every DLC for $10 (sick). Im just wondering if this mod would take away from the DLC? Ive heard Far Harbor is one of the best additions of any game and I dont want to detract from that.
