This is unfair.

So, I had a classmate a year ago (she's in different school now) Let's call her J. she wasn't the greatest in academics, she wasn't even decent.

J moved to a different school because she got expelled from our school due to poor grades(very poor). But I don't think it's her fault. First of all, she is excellent at drawing, like really excellent! And second, during a work education exam, she sew a entire cloth as a project and gave it to the madam. The madam absolutely loved it and immediately said it's her favorite and then insisted for her to join a sewing school. Our madam emphasized how J will be a great fashion designer. She's also good at making hand-made projects.

Given all of this, I don't really think her being forced to do the same education as other students is fair considering she is definitely built for Art. However, her parents didn't listen. Not to J, not to the madam's advice and enrolled her in a different High school.

It's so upsetting how some people's skills get overlooked and they are made to walk the same path as other students even if they are clearly made for something else.

Our school literally has a poster, where it's written "Every student can learn; but, not in the same time nor through the SAME WAY". . . So, that's clearly not being enforced upon, huh?

I don't have any updates on what she's doing now but I am pretty sure she's still in the same H.S.

Why do Indian parents devalue Art? Science isn't the only answer, it should never be especially considering the rise of Ai.

An Ai in the future would be able to do engineering but it will never be able to make clothes which feel the need of other people, only a Fashion designer would be able to do that.
