AITAH for confronting my co-worker

I (23/M) started an internship at my new workplace an I’m paired with (22/F) co-worker. I’ve been treating her nicely since we started and always bring up things to talk about. But she always being dismissive whenever I talk to her. I tried to be friends with her and I have never made her feel uncomfortable. When I confronted her why she act so cold with me, her answer is because she lives with only male siblings, so she has a bit rough personality. Aitah for confronting her or ruining future interactions?
