A few nights ago, one Brooklyn 39 in sage popped up on the Coach site and a Redditor on this sub posted it. I’ve been in love with that color and been looking for a spring/summer neutral that isn’t brown, so I grabbed it despite it being full price. Well, it just arrived and I don’t know how to feel.

First, it did come in the Coach box and wrapped in paper, but no plastic bag.

No dust bag AND no hang tag.

Leather texture looks way more pebbled and not at all like my black Brooklyn 39 or merlot Brooklyn 34, or other Brooklyns I’ve seen in store. But I think I saw a post here that the leather texture sometimes varies? But all the other Brooklyns I’ve seen are very smooth and this isn’t.

And then on top of that, every corner has wear on it. I know this is a normal part of wear - my black 39 is starting to get it because I wear it as an everyday bag, but the sage has far more corner wear than the black 39 that I’ve been wearing 4-5 times a day for 3 months straight.

Did I get a worn and returned bag? What do y’all think? Return? It sucks because this color isn’t really available so I can’t just exchange, but at the same time, it’s really disappointing for a full price bag.

Got the sage Brooklyn 39 from Coach. Leather looks different and signs of wear. Return?
