Which car is best in comfort and budget friendly?

I want to buy a car that is comfortable, affordable to maintain a car, doesn’t cause trouble, No EV.

Good suspension, smooth driving and safe.

I am not car lover and I see car as vehicle to travel comfortably. i don’t know anything about car. I have Ciaz for 10 years, till now I didn’t faced any problems , yearly one service which costs 10k. I am happy with this car, now I need another car. I wish to buy bmw or Benz or Volvo but maintenance cost is too high so I need cheaper alternatives to it. Budget less than 40 lakh.

I thought of buying kia seltos but few said it is not safe. Whatever I like it is above 40. So I can’t able to decide what to buy.
