What something small that improved your mental health more than you expected ??
I’m not talking about huge life changes like moving cities or quitting your job. I mean small things. Small habits. Small adjustments. For me, it was setting a “no phone for the first 30 minutes after waking up” rule. I didn’t realize how much starting the day with notifications was affecting my mood. Once I stopped, mornings felt calmer. It made me think — maybe mental health isn’t always about massive transformation. Maybe it’s about tiny, consistent shifts.
So I’m curious: What’s one small change that unexpectedly made your life better?
Could be:
- A boundary you set
- A routine you started
- Something you stopped doing
- Even something as simple as changing your sleep timing
Would love to hear real, practical experiences.
