Why is balancing specificity and creativity in prompts so hard?
I’m really struggling with how to balance being specific in my prompts while still leaving room for creativity. It feels like a tightrope walk where one misstep could lead to either bland outputs or chaotic ones.
In a recent lesson, we talked about modular prompts, which sounds great in theory. But when it comes to practice, I find myself unsure about how to maintain that creative spark while being structured. For instance, if I’m too specific, I feel like I’m boxing in the AI, but if I’m too vague, I end up with results that are all over the place.
Has anyone else faced this dilemma? What strategies do you use to find that balance? I’d love to hear how you approach crafting prompts that are both structured and flexible!
