Thoughts on Quincy?

Quincy has made its way pretty high on our list for bay boy coming this summer. There are past threads about it but curious about current thoughts.

Our current son is Malcolm. So we like classic but unique - little bit of cute old man vibes.

I think my biggest hold up with Quincy is how popular it is within the black community. We are a white family (and progressive). My concern is with having a Malcolm (has a strong tie to the black community of course) and then Quincy. I don’t want to feel like we are appropriating or progressive try- hards. We just simply like these names!

(As I see these suggested often: I like Quinn but want it to be his choice to go by Quinn as to me it leans more feminine. And I cannot get on board with Quentin because all I think of is Tarantino haha.)
