Tips on finding affordable flowers and vines?

I was looking at florists with a minimum spend of $5,000 and that’s wild to me! I want to have real flowers and vines as decor and I’d love to know if there are any helpful tips for finding better deals. I’m open to making the arrangements the day of and before the wedding, but ideally I’d love to have a service do that. I’m sure I’m asking for the impossible, but if you have some helpful ways around navigating florals, I’d love to know! I’m also more open to focus on more greenery than florals, but not sure where to look for that.
