Eufy s4 question

Hey everyone. Just picked up a eufy s4 solar Happy with it at the moment have it connected to homebase 3. Running it in solar mode for now but have the option to hardwire for 24/7 recording

My reason for keeping it in solar is I thought if wifi went down (aka power outage) it would continue to operate on local storage and with its on board ai. Sadly my quick test seems to indicate this doesn’t occur.

Does anyone know if there’s a setting or something.
