My debut Bengali film just got picked up by an OTT platform — here’s what I learned.

I made my first film with a small team, limited resources, and a story that was very personal to me.

It’s called Obyakto (অব্যক্ত) — which means “The Unspoken.”

It explores emotional neglect, silence in relationships, and the things we don’t say until it’s too late.

We shot with passion more than budget. There were moments I questioned everything — whether indie cinema still has space in the OTT world.

Last month, it got officially selected and acquired by BongFlix and is now streaming on YouTube, with Prime release coming soon.

As a first-time director, seeing it live on an OTT platform felt surreal.

If you have 30–40 minutes, I’d genuinely value your honest feedback — not just views.

Would love to know:

	•	Did the emotional transitions feel authentic?

	•	Did the silences speak enough?

Thank you for supporting independent cinema !

As a first-time woman director, getting my Bengali film selected and bought by OTT was an emotional journey. I would truly value your feedback!
