Upsizing early if plugs are super loose?

i was at 12g, just started like three weeks ago, and i noticed my plugs were like wiggling around in my lobe and if i tugged down at all i could like see through a gap at the top of the hole. I tested to see if a 10g would fit better and it just slid right in with no resistance and most definitely no pain or even friction. Is this still bad or is it fine that i went bigger so fast? They fit so easily, like i was holding it up to the hole without any oil or anything and it just went straight in loosely. Do i still have to worry about blowout in this case? should i go back to the smaller size? The plugs not being flush around the inside of my ear was bothering me tbh.
