Changing mic input on Android?

Does anybody know how to change the input device on bandlab for android? I've tried plugging in with a 3.5mm but it still uses my phone mic. I'm trying to use a headphone splitter and get audio output through my headphones but record using the input connector from the headphone out on my e-kit.

I'm at a total loss here. Android version 16
