Apple TV channels

Hello all, so my tv/internet provider spectrum comes with a bunch of streaming apps included in as a bundle, all but 1 (paramount) works seamlessly on the Apple TV app on my Samsung tv, I have the paramount app on my phone and it's logged in and works fine watching on from my phone, but if I try to watch a show/movie from paramount on my tv via Apple TV it takes me to the subscription page, how do I get it to stop, I also downloaded the paramount app on my tv and it's logged in and works fine, but I'd have to leave the Apple TV app and go to the paramount app every time
