New gf on social media

I saw the dreaded post on social media that he has a new girlfriend. It’s been a year and he’s a serial monogamist so I’m not surprised but I’m still crushed 😔 He doesn’t post on social media so I hadn’t blocked him but his new girlfriend tagged him. He’s still a bit intertwined in my life for family reasons but I think this is my sign to figure out a way to go no contact. I need to find a way to move past the heartbreak. I know some of you in this group understand how disposable I feel right now. We loved each other so much and created a life together, but his avoidance won out in the end. I wonder if he can finally change for this new girlfriend or if he will just continue to repeat his same behavior every few years.
