"Green"

A colour of the forests vast,

Of the grassy hills and valleys profound,

The colour of leaves which grows on lonely trees.

Green - the colour of Mother Nature,

The one who gives life to other creatures,

The colour of the most precious emeralds,

The colour of the smallest chameleons.

Enter a forest and green is all you'll see,

From bushes to grasses and leaves alike,

It is the place where nature thrives.

From the seaweed which grows below,

And the algae on the shore,

To the birds which soar above,

And the parrots who mimic all.

Green is everywhere my friend,

A colour which has no end.
