Dog friendly housing

Hello! I just found out today that I got into my dream graduate program at CSUMB:) My boyfriend and I would have to relocate around May/mid-may as the program begins beginning of June. My biggest issue with housing is that we have two medium sized dogs and I know that dog-friendly housing is extremely difficult around there. I would want some sort of yard situation for them so they wouldn’t have to be inside all day. I’m only hoping someone has any advice to lead me in the right direction especially if they’ve been in this situation before or know others who have! TIA :)
