The National Skills Development Authority

The National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) is a government agency in Bangladesh established under the Prime Minister’s Office. It leads national efforts to build a skilled workforce by formulating and coordinating skills development policies, setting training standards, and aligning training programs with both local and international labor market needs. The NSDA oversees quality assurance, certification frameworks like the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), and recognition of prior learning to ensure training is effective and industry-relevant. It also collaborates with public and private partners, supports training institutions, and drives initiatives that enhance employability and economic growth across sectors.
