43x or M&P shield

Hey y’all,

I currently CC a 43x but I’m thinking of picking up a M&P shield plus comp or a shield X for CC. I have a first production 43x so no optics mount and I think I’d like an optic on my CC, but I don’t want to get the slide milled. I’ve also heard great things on the S&W but I haven’t shot one. Can I get some feedback from yall?
