The Pill and Ramadan

Random Curiosity.... I'm not a Muslim, but it occurred to me today that if you're observing Ramadan and are on the pill, this time of year could be doubly difficult. Unless you wanted to wake up extremely early to take the pill and wait 30 minutes to an hour before having a pre-dawn breakfast, you'd need to fast the entire day... And as I understand it, have no water.

And even if you didn't plan on eating breakfast, you'd still need to wake up early to take the pill... Unless there's some dispensation for medication.

Anyone here having to deal with that?
