Immich Android app can't connect to server behind Nginx Proxy Manager basic auth — any workaround?

Hey everyone, I've got Immich running on my local machine exposed to the internet via Cloudflare Tunnel with Nginx Proxy Manager in front of it. I added basic auth (username/password) through NPM's access list feature to prevent unauthorized access.

The web interface works fine when I enter my credentials in the browser, but the Immich Android app just fails to connect when I enter the server URL. I'm guessing the app doesn't know how to handle the basic auth prompt that NPM throws up before the connection reaches Immich.

Has anyone dealt with this setup before? Is there a way to get the Android app to authenticate through NPM basic auth, or do I need a different approach to securing my instance?
