Nephew going to bootcamp

My nephew is going to bootcamp, and im scared shitless truthfully. Any terminology I should be familiar with, or can someone tell me if i should be wary of certain topics in letters? I’m completely lost when it comes to all things Marine, let alone military in general. Any kind words, information, anything would be greatly appreciated. Im scared but I want to support him.
