EB-1A Premium Processing

Hi everyone,

My EB-1B has already been approved, and my priority date is July 2024. I’m working with an attorney to file an EB-1A because I’d prefer not to be tied to my employer.

I was initially considering premium processing for EB-1A for a few reasons:

• Priority dates could move very slowly for Indian citizens.
• Once EB-1A is approved, I’d have more flexibility to switch employers.
• Potential policy changes.

However, with the recent advancement in the EB-1 category in the latest Visa Bulletin, I’m reconsidering whether premium processing still makes sense. My attorney is advising against filing with premium.
