should i pursue my crush? (i will delete soon since he might be on reddit)

i really like him, i think he is the coolest, kindest guy ever. however, i am really really nervous to make any type of move. i have never ever asked a guy out or given really significant hints.

i am also not sure if he likes me or not? i honestly might just be overthinking, here are some things that maybe give a hint?:

1. he greeted me at an event and stopped talking with his cousin to walk around with me and look at all the booths, he also gave me candies

2. he texts regularly, but we are working on projects together, so im not sure if most of the reason is that?

3. he invited me to attend his club

4. he said he would teach me how to skateboard

i have no idea how to pursue someone, i really want to be genuine, especially since he might have been in a toxic situationship :( please help!
