I’ve been seeing for the past couple of days of people sit up here and debate on Manon racial identity, question why she doesn’t have Black friends, criticize her for not celebrating bhm, criticize her for mentioning her swiss side more than her Ghanaian side, claim she can’t face racism because she is biracial.

The debates on Manon’s race has to stop. People are going to have a different definition of Blackness depending on who you ask, even people from the same country. I can’t believe people actually think it’s productive to debate on someone’s racial identity.

Yes I am a black woman myself and seeing people downplay her blackness just don’t sit right with me at all.
