i posted Enzo on here around 4/5 months ago (included some pics of him from that time 😁) but we only had results from Wisdom Panel. lots of people told me he was more likely going to be a village dog of sorts compared to the combination of 19 breeds given by W.P. he is 9 months old and weighs around 35kg.

his brother got tested via Embark around a month ago and indeed, he came back as part W.E village dog. i had guessed Enzo was at least part RR before he arrived here in the UK but didn’t expect to actually be correct, especially Embark’s near 50% versus W.P’s 27% RR.

he doesn’t have the RR typical ridge on his back, but his legs & overall lean build both give telltale signs that he’s got Rhodesian Ridgeback in him. the loose neck & mouth are definitely traits from the spanish mastiff.

he’s very independent but also loves spending time with us as a family. he’s very vigilant around strangers & isn’t shy when it comes to alerting us of anything he deems not welcome, lol. super stubborn but a very fast learner. he’s also super speedy when it comes to running & chasing.

the only thing is the impossible question of how big he’ll get! i’m 5’6 and when walking, his head is already nearing my waist 😆
