So I decided to not buy the mustang gt buttt

So yesterday I believe I posted about buying a 2012 mustang gt and I agree with the comments that I shouldn't buy it.. SO now I have a deal set up with a guy on Facebook marketplace for a 1 - 1 trade for a 2005 mustang gt, it's in some worse condition but same value as the truck I drive. the insurance would be cheaper and gas about the same. So should I go for it? I can afford any fixes it needs. should I do it?
