Vertical 2 for 400 euros or Venu 4 for 500 euros ?

I am a long term Garmin user, currently have had a 6x pro and a 540 cycling computer. I've been thinking about making the switch to Suunto to favor a EU company and also because the fenix 8 watch is still super expensive for an almost 2 years old watch.

I can get the vertical 2 new for 400 euros from a guy that's selling it and never used it or I can buy the venu 4 new from Garmin for about 500 euros. I like the idea of the maps feature on the vertical 2 but TBH not sure how much use I'll get from it.

Ultimately I can wait for the Fenix 9 to come out but who knows how long that's going to be.

Any Garmin users that have made the switch? Looking for both positive and negative opinions.
