Hello my fellow Hobartians!!
i haven’t posted on Reddit before lol so I don’t really know what I’m doing..
But I just wanted to tell any parents or kids out there about a local tutoring service that both my children have been going to for the past 6 weeks
My husband and I divorced a few years ago, and both my children took it really badly, which broke my heart.
I had to work a few jobs to keep everything afloat, but unfortunately I feel like I may have neglected their schooling a little bit.
A few months ago I went searching for a tutor for my kids
My youngest is 13, and she really struggles with paying attention in class, and my eldest is 16 and she tries super hard but sometimes doesn’t understand the concepts
I came across a service called McCallum Tutoring, which is owned locally by a student.
I read over the page and saw how many tutors were available. They all are highly qualified and looked so approachable and kind
I reached out and the business reached out right away, setting me up with a tutor for each of my girls and being so considerate of pricing due to our family situation
Both my kids have absolutely loved the sessions and I can visibly see a difference in the quality of their work and how much they are enjoying school
I really hope this helps some people
