Flat platform in cab

So i know the title is pretty vague but im wanting to build a platform in the back of my 91 king cab to put amps and a sub box on, How can i go about making this to sit level and secure in the back? i was planning on like using 4x4s cut to height to make the panel level and then using L brackets onto the floor with a rivnut gun to secure it down?
