The Dog 'Culture'

Something like this has probably already been posted to this subreddit already, but can we talk about the fact that you CANNOT hate on dogs online because most of the people will see you as some kind of monster because of this? Anytime i see some sort of dog hate post on any other social media app except reddit usually people start hating on the person that posted that reply/video and yet when people hate on any other animal nobody really bats an eye.. Dogs are like some holy animal that you cannot hate on and if you do then you're automatically a bad person and you have no empathy and deserve to die.. Okay maybe not really on that last bit but the rest? Yes, like why should i like an animal that mauls children on a daily basis, smells like shit, and is annoying as fuck? I feel like there are more downsides. And the worst thing is that dog culture is so strong almost all over the world that no one finds it crazy..
