1. I saw the new Archmagos Terminus and just had to do a quick photoedit of him into a Dark Mechanicum/Mechanicus Archmagos, a few different Forgeworlds (Xana II for example). A wonderful model that I need.
2. A Dark Mechanicum Assassin or Arcuitor Magisterium. A quick little photoedit I created for a possible miniature I wanted to make for my Horus Heresy Dark Mechanicum. Photoedited from Goremongers legs, Wracks torso and arms and weapons, Skitarii lower arms, Tech-Thralls visor, Dark Eldar Scourges backpack and a Warpsmiths mechadendrites.
3. I decided to photobash how a possible member of my Horus Heresy Imperialis Militia Command Squad would look like, it is the guy in the middle, next to some regular troops of the army. They are allied to the Dark Mechanicum that is tightly knit to them. I am aiming for a Nekrotek feel, resurrected cyber augmented soldiers that are just skeletons beneath the armor. The body is based on the Stormcast Vanquishers, helmet of Mechanicum Tech Thralls and some bits and pieces from the Genestealer Cult armor parts, chainsword is 2 Jakhal chainswords stacked to make it longer.
4. The new Red Corsairs Raiders kit looks to be PERFECT for various Blackshield Armies and conversions for Horus heresy. They got a very nice tattered and weathered look to them that I feel works well for a worn down Blackshield force. I wanted to photoedit them into a Blackshield force that had previously been part of the Blood Angels but now discarded their panoply while keeping some of the weapons. I added a few Horus heresy bits here and there and changed a few fundamental parts to make it look more like they are scavenging power armor parts.
