Will there ever be an update for the kids?

I'm on my 3rd year, And this is the furthest I've ever gotten in the game. I've gotten into the Casino, Completed the community center, Gotten to the bottom of the mines etc. So I've gotten a lot done.

I've got 1 kid currently and the others on the way in a few days. But my kid has been a toddler for quite a bit now, Almost 3 years. It's kinda odd that they're just a toddler for years, Like they never grow up to at LEAST Jas and Vincent's age.

Will there ever be an update to where they can age up? I'm on switch so I cannot download mods, I gotta rely on game updates for new content 🥲
