I posted here for the first time a few days ago, and the response was overwhelming and unexpected! First, thank you to everyone who showed me kindness, love, and reassurance. As a first time mom who’s new to making daycare lunches, I really needed it 🥺

I wanted to clear a few things up too:

1. Our little one is a very good eater! He eats most of these lunches so for those concerned about volume, don’t be.

2. There were lots of people who assumed that most of these go to waste. It doesn’t! What he doesn’t finish at daycare gets eaten at home by him or by us!

3. It’s not peanut butter on the sandwiches! It’s called “Wow Butter”. It’s a soy-based, nut-free, and gluten-free alternative. Totally safe for daycare!

4. This was actually something a “friend”said to me. I wasn’t farming for karma and I’m definitely not a bot lol. Just an anxious mom who overthinks a lot of the time. So for the 99% of you were kind, thank you. So many of you helped me to see this isn’t a person I need in my life.

As for these lunches, here’s the breakdown of what’s in them:

Picture 1: coconut melties, apple + strawberry corn puffs, shredded rotisserie chicken, pickles, Babybel cheese, raspberries, and strawberries.

Picture 2: chocolate quinoa crisps, wow butter sandwich, chicken w/ tomato sauce, marble cheese, pretzels, coconut melties, and strawberries.

Picture 3: wow butter sandwich, hard boiled egg, Babybel cheese, honey garlic chicken, oranges, and chocolate chip cookies (shaped like sea creatures + with hidden fruits and veggies!)

Picture 4: chocolate quinoa crisps, wow butter + jam sandwich, egg, turkey + cheese roll-ups, rice crackers, strawberries, pretzels, and coconut melties.
