Tapering/adding new med.

I’m tapering off of mirt. Was on 45mg for over ten years. Been going fine unti Sunday when I dropped from 15mg to 7.5. My anxiety was high. Last night I added (with gp advice) 25mg of clomipramine. I’ve woken up to a bad adrenaline surge and panic attacks. Have taken 1mg of lorazepam and 20mg of propranolol. They have done nothing. My question is, is this the clomipramine or the tapering? It’s horrendous and I’m not sure if I should take another lorazepam. The only other time I’ve felt like this is when taking SSRIs. I can’t take them.
