Water-cooled 2080 Super's water pump is starting to fail. What should I replace it with?
My beloved EVGA 2080 Super FTW3 Hybrid (AIO water-cooled) is starting to show signs of water pump failure. It's the second card I had after replacing the first one under EVGA's warranty program (RIP) about 3 years into ownership due to a failed water pump and this one had a similar lifespan. It never did ray-tracing very well; none of the 20-series cards really did, mostly just a proof of concept, but it's done everything else I wanted it to admirably. Now I need a replacement and I'm relatively out of the loop with what's actually worth it with everything costing basically triple what I paid when I originally built this rig.
Other Notable Peripherals:
-Intel i9-10850k
-Corsair LPX 32GB 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM
-Seasonic 850w Platinum-Efficiency
-3x 27" 1440p Monitors
I use my computer for:
-2560x1440p single monitor gaming
-7680x1440p triple monitor simulator gaming
-CAD design and 3D printing
My budget is somewhat open-ended and I'd like to future-proof my purchase as much as possible. (Obviously no one WANTS to pay 3k for a 5090, but if that's the best option to futureproof, I'd rather rip off the bandage now rather than fathom what prices will be like in another 6 years).
