Why can’t I sign in to websites on the watch browser using my Apple ID?

So the title speaks for itself. I can sign into my Google account fine, but when I enter in my Apple ID to sign into any websites that I sign into via Apple account, the “continue” button is always faded out and unusable. Any advice?
