Help with ATS, can't log into WOT even though just reset the PW

I can't play ATS online because I cannot log in to WOT. My steam log in is fine, I click on resume career, next page with garage opens fine, click on drive, next page brings up this error:

"The PW is incorrect or the online account does not exist."

My WOT has been active for weeks and has not changed. Wanting to play online, tried again with my existing account. No good, received the same error.

Okay, I successfully created a new username and password on WOT. Went back to steam, loaded ATS, selected resume career, drive, and received the same error on the next page.

How do I fix this?
