20 years later, my new POCO X7 Pro gave me the same nostalgia as my dying TN monitors from 2005
I was born in an era of chunky TN panels and VGA cables. I vividly remember those hot summers when my monitor would overheat, and every white letter on a black background would start "bleeding" to the right, leaving long, ghostly trails across the screen. It was the mark of a dying beast—swollen capacitors and interference.
I found a similar photo, which is quite rare. If the author had taken a dark one, the effect would have been much more sensual.
It’s in the screenshot. It’s not the hardware; it’s a "feature" or even the "future" of the rendering engine.
Xiaomi ft. Vivaldi finally managed to perfectly simulate the agony of 2005 hardware.
