Karasu's future prediction

SpoilerManga Discussion

So I want to throw my hat in the ring to predict Karasu's future in the story.

So I think narratively speaking, Japan is losing the game against France for sure. This would mean Karasu's new style would not have worked. I think that when the time for England comes, Karasu will be placed on the bench by Ego.

(Altough I AGREE with LITTERLY EVERYTHING KARASU said against Isagi in 337, I feel like Kaneshiro wants to subvert that and show Karasu is wrong about discarding the blue lock mentality. I hope that makes sense.)

After Karasu is benched, Ego will give his spot in the midfield to Isagi, and Barou will become a striker. Ego does this to force Isagi into the nr2 role, which he hates, and will cause Isagi to evolve out of that mentality permanently. After that, he will never doubt his striker ego again.

(Barou likely also eggs him on as he wants to chase and devour the nr1-Isagi, not the nr2-Isagi. Also narratively speaking it would be cool to have Barou be the reason to break Isagi out of his slump, mirroring how Isagi was the reason Barou broke out of his slump during 2nd selection)

And then in a later match during the knock-out stages, Karasu is subbed on by Ego and will have evolved his mentality as well, and be a 'supersub' that surprises their opponents by trying and succeeding to score himself, instead of playing support.

TLDR: Karasu is getting benched after this game and will later reawaken his striker ego in the knockout stages and score a goal
