Studienkolleg 26/27
Hi everyone,
I’m an Indian student currently in Germany on a language visa.
My APS certificate was issued in September 2025 and it clearly states “Zugang zum Studienkolleg”.
I recently saw the new update about the 70% minimum requirement for Indian students (applying from WS 2026/27).
However, APS replied to my email and confirmed that:
APS certificates issued on or before 14 March 2026 fall under the old (50%) criteria.
So my situation is:
• APS issued before 15 March 2026
• Already in Germany
• Currently learning German (aiming for B2)
• Planning to apply for Studienkolleg Winter Semester 2026/27 (T-Kurs)
• Class 12 marks: 62%
My questions:
1. Will Studienkollegs still consider me eligible under the old criteria since my APS is old?
2. Has anyone with <70% and an old APS applied successfully for WS 2026/27?
3. Do Studienkollegs follow APS eligibility strictly, or do they apply the new Anabin rule regardless of APS date?
I am preparing seriously for the entrance exam and just want to understand my eligibility.
Thanks in advance!
