Hardware Recommendations for Self-Hosting Fluxer?

I know Fluxer doesn't have documentation for self-hosting (yet) but I am looking to prep and gather some hardware in anticipation of setting up self-hosting for my group of friends (100+). If it helps, my budget is $500 and I can easily set up ethernet to the new device. Thanks in advance!
