Blinatumomab hospitalization

Hi beautiful people. I firstly want to say how deeply I appreciate everyone here. My mom was diagnosed in November, and since then this has been a place where I come everyday. You guys all really understand what we’re going through. As much as family and friends listen and try to understand it’s not the same. And the advice the conversations are all so meaningful. So thank you so much to everyone.

My mom’s 10 day hospitalization for Blincyto is coming up in a few days. I was wondering what experiences you guys or your family members have had during this time or any time during? Doctor says she doesn’t anticipate her having side effects that are too bad since she doesn’t have much of a disease burden but I’d like to know the possibilities. I know cytokine release syndrome is a possibility. If anyone has experienced it I’d like to know what that looked like. Also, if anyone has any tips to make this phase easier I’d love to hear them as well. Thank you all.
