Study is interesting, but here is the deal. It appears to be for US residents ONLY. Problem is, nowhere in the study intro does it say so, nor the screening questions. Instead, I found out AFTER completing the entire study (around 15 minutes) on the last page where there was a question "In which US region do you live in ?" without an option for not living in the US. I left the page open, and contacted researcher, did not get a response on time, so I canceled participation to return the submission. I left the study page open in case I get a response to just continue. Point being, I am fed up of researchers not setting up their studies properly. If any researchers are here reading, please stop wasting our precious time and use the tools available to target your audience. This is the second time in a few days that I get US only studies on my dashboard. Luckily I had figured out they were with questions, it's only that when I figure it out at the end of a survey, it's precious time wasted where I could be doing other studies. I always expect compensation for my time in such cases. In all instances of this happening, I have not received a reply from researcher.
For this study, I am reporting this to Prolific. For those of you outside the US, if you receive this study, now you know, and you won't waste your time like I did. The US question is at the END of the survey !
