30-day Malaysia Visa (MDAC) - landing March 2 early morning, leaving April 1 evening. Is this an overstay?

Hi everyone,

I’m an Indian passport holder planning to travel to Malaysia on a tourist eVisa (30 days).

My flight lands in Kuala Lumpur on March 2 at 4:45 AM. My return flight departs Malaysia on April 1 at 6:30 PM.

So the total time inside Malaysia would be roughly 30 days and about 14–15 hours.

My question is: If I enter on March 2, would leaving on April 1 be considered within the 30-day allowance, or technically an overstay?

Would really appreciate clarification from anyone who has had a similar situation.
