How is living in Braamfontein these days?

I was a Fourways boet in my 20’s and never navigated to the “scary CBD”, but after living in London I’ve grown to appreciate city life.

I’ve been seeing that a lot of work has been going into improving the CBD with a lot if City Improvement District projects going on

Is it a viable place to look for a possie? If I move back to Jo’burg i would like to live in a highrise that has good city views that doesn’t break the bank (obv work location dependent).
