Gibson NY Assignment Structure

Basically what the question says. I’ve noticed that some attorneys have both regulatory and litigation practices listed on their profiles and I was wondering how fluid the assignment system really is.

Also is it silly to pick Gibson over K&E or S&C for cultural reasons? I am not concerned with vault, but I don’t want to be boxed out of opportunities.
