Tires for car

I called a tire place about some used tires and they said they have p235 55 19 and my tires are p225 55 19. I asked if the wheel would be able to fit the tire even though they’re a quarter of an inch and the guy said it will be fine. I was just wondering if this is true and if the tires and wheels will be okay if I do this
